along my journey I carry you along

My work aims to be calm and subtle. It whispers and invites, and asks you to stop and wait for just a little while. To pause—to notice, to reflect, to cherish, to long.

It plays with the dichotomy of designed nature found in a city and the wobbly and amorphous character of landscapes beyond the city. My work hints at soft weightlessness of childhood, later bathed in a film of nostalgia.

Along my journey I carry you along is about a journey that we all share. Both physical and metaphorical, this wandering journey is tied to longing…a yearning for a place, for a time past or future, for a person lost and waiting to be found again.
