Physically, this piece channels and controls air movement and electricity, and holds the air in many containers. The tubes being the “paths,” the containers being “everything we hope for.”
Whether it is only a phase, an ongoing process, or a compulsive way of life, most people can relate to the desire to navigate a path that will get you to your goals, or what you perceive to be potential or probable happiness; and on top of that, how to combine that path with another person and their hopes. This navigation is something I think about a lot right now, and that I have been thinking about during the formation of this piece.
